Some tips for MUET
Hi there, I have some tips for MUET. I took MUET session 3 in 2018 while I was in matriculation college.
🐣 I know candidates who took STPM have their practices in school & it's good, keep going btw!
🐣 For SPEAKING :
1. You can practice in groups of four, find some topics for group discussion practices. It works for me & my friends.🤗
2. During task 1 (individual), eventhough you don't like the topic, just say something relevant to the topic. 🙆🏻♀🙆🏻♂ And don't forget to list some points from other candidates while they're speaking, maybe it'll help you for task 2 (group discussion). THAT'S A MUST!
3. You can interupt other people to justify their points or whatever, but be polite, okay? Just say '
"excuse me candidate A/B/C/D, can I interupt?" or anything you want to say.
4. Be confident in your speaking. Practice makes perfect 😁
I don't remember much for speaking but it's okay. Let's move on!
🐣 For WRITING :
1. For section B, you don't need to use creative yet complex words (yeah, that's what I remember ehehe). Examiners wants to see your argument on the specific topic given. GIVE EXAMPLES, THAT'S A MUST!
2. When you're writing for section B, state clearly that you're AGREE or DISAGREE. If you say 'yes & no', that answer is kind of risky & you don't want to confuse the examiners with your answers, don't you? Just try to stick with one, AGREE or DISAGREE.
3. When writing your points, follow the sequences that you wrote in your intro. Yeah in sequence, MUET IS THAT STRICT. Be careful!
4. What about section A, eh? DO READ THE QUESTION & THE GRAPH/STATISTICS/PIE CHARTS/ANY FIGURE GIVEN CAREFULLY. (I mostly forgot about section A, sorry 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻)
Just read about the issues happening in 🇲🇾. Maybe it'll help you to state &
elaborate the arguments for section B. Get the highest marks for this paper okay? 🎉
🐣 For READING :
The highest carry marks of all MUET papers. 😭 This paper changes the game! Getting lower marks for this paper, you are in trouble! 😳
1. Just do practices on this paper, this paper is testing your understanding of the story/infograph/whatsoever.
2. My trick for this paper is to read the question, then read the story/infograph/anything given. It is because I want to understand what the question wants first then answer it. Give it a try, maybe it works for you ☺️
🐣 For LISTENING, just focus & jot down/mark possible answers. If you missed it, listen carefully for the second time & finally write the answer. Self-explainatory there ehehe 😂
That's some tips that I have & remembered from the old days 😉 Good luck for MUET in any sessions or if you're taking for MUET On Demand (MOD)🎉🎉🎉🎉 MUET is very strict, so be careful & try not to make many errors, okay? 😄😄😄😄
YOU CAN DO IT! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
